						Q.
						 
						    I'm interested in viewing the Online Newspaper you wrote 
							about in the last CSI Technical Journal, but I'm not seeing it as an option. 
							How do you get there?
						A.
							 
						   The prompt to "View Tomorrow's Newspaper" automatically displays 
						after each daily update with Unfair Advantage if your software is set to 
						display news headlines from the CSI website. You can adjust this setting 
						through the UA "Options" menu under "General Settings." Click the "Daily 
						Distribution" tab and make sure "Display Daily News File Through Browser" is 
						checked. Click [OK] to save your change. The Online Newspaper prompt follows 
						the daily headlines. You may need to scroll down to see it.
						 Q.
							 
							    Does CSI provide earnings per share and other fundamental 
								stock data?
						 A.
							 
						    Yes. Earnings per share and shares outstanding are included 
						in the factsheet information for each issue. View current information by 
						clicking the Factsheet icon (it looks like a book) on the UA toolbar. These 
						series should appear as the last few columns. If you don't have them, you will 
						need a new CD.
						 Q.
							 
							    Why did it take UA so long to update my stock database during 
								the first week of February?
						 A.
							 
						    Stock fundamentals are stored in the factsheet, and there 
						were many factsheet revisions during February. Whenever these changes occur, 
						the corresponding data files are rebuilt. The upcoming UA version 2.4.4 (due in 
						early March) includes several enhancements, among them is a more selective 
						process for determining which factsheet fields cause a rebuild. We recommend 
						the new upgrade to all our subscribers, as it will pay dividends in quicker 
						downloads, particularly for stock traders.
						 Q.
							 
							    I'm told that I can't download UA data because my new 
								computer's firewall (Norton Internet Security - NIS) is blocking the 
								transmission. How can I get around this?
						 A.
							 
							    You have two choices: 
							 
							      1. Temporary Solution (recommended): 
							 
						          [Disable] NIS before 
						each download, then [Enable] it afterward.
						       2. Permanent Solution (at the cost of reduced 
							internet security):
							 
							           Open NIS,
							 
							           Go to [Options], 
							click
							 
							           Go to [Advanced 
							Options] button, click
							 
							           Go to [Other] tab
							 
						   On the left-hand side is a numeric list of TCP Ports. Port 80 
						should be the first one. Highlight it and then click the [Remove] button. Click 
						the [Apply] button and then [OK] until you are back to NIS. Restart your 
						computer to make Windows recognize the changes.
						 
						   If you later want to restore full filtering on Port 80, repeat the 
						process, but instead of clicking [Remove], click the [Add] button.
						 Note: Port 80 is primarily used for the World Wide Web. By removing it 
							from the list, you are opening up World Wide Web access. NIS will continue to 
							look for bad things on your computer, but it won't filter every single data 
							byte coming through. There are several common viruses out there that expose 
							your hard drive to the world using Port 80. This means that if you were to 
							contract one of these viruses, anyone in the World Wide Web would have access 
							to anything on your drive. Please contact Norton for further clarification.
