Display Full Contract Value

The price values seen on the UA chart scale or on the optional table reflect daily fluctuations in trading units. The "Display Full Contract Value" feature allows for the alternate display of any commodity in currency units per contract. In other words, the scale reflects the full contract value, not the price per pound or other trading unit as shown on the standard chart.

The option of converting to full contract value is available only through UA's charting feature and is activated by creating your chart, then right-clicking your mouse and selecting "Display Full Contract Value."

When activated, this menu item is checked on the right-click menu. Charts displayed in full contract value can be identified by the chart description as shown below. Note the upper chart is displayed using the typical per-unit scale. The lower chart shows the "per contract" scale.
