Date Range

A "date range" selector appears at the bottom of the screen for every portfolio entry and chart request made through UA. The default date range is from "as available" to "as available." These settings let UA create the longest, most detailed charts and files possible for your selected time series.

For most applications, these dates should be left as they are. There are valid reasons for studying a specific, isolated time period, however, which is why we give you the option of identifying a date range.

Enter the desired start and ending dates using a four-digit year, month and day format.

Example, the start date offered on the drop-down menu (shown above) is March 30, 1983. January 15, 2004 would be entered as: 20040115.

Next consider adjusting the periodicity of your files.
